Goemar - Site Owner

Started RGZ on the 6th January 2002. After searching the web for sprites from uncommon games like Yume Penguin Monogatari and Wacky Races and finding nothing he decided he would have to do it himself. After submitting a few sheets to other sprite sites Goemar decided to start RGZ as a home for forgotten and uncommon game sprites.

Email: retrogamezone@ntlworld.com

Locke_gb7 - Partner

Owns NES-SNES Sprites. Goemar's first couple of sheets were submitted to that site. The 2 became great friends and teamed up to rip sprites for RGZ. Though Guy is a member of RGZ he enjoys keeping his own site up as he enjoys web design and still gets a large number of hits.

Nubio36 - Staff Member

Another staff member from NES-SNES Sprites. Though she has only done a few sheets they are of great quality. She is an expert at ripping sprites from RPGs but now sadly rarely finds time to do so.

~Jay-Jay~ - Staff Member

Formally known as Mr. ? because he couldn't thing of a name. Is a skilled ripper who specializes in ripping GBA games. Though his first few sheets did need improvement before being put online his skill has now greatly improved. He often feels un-appreciated.

Reaper - Staff Member

Newest member to RGZ. Contributed greatly to the great ripping of R-Type and R-Type 2 by organizing the sprites into sheets. Since then he's not done much...

Nessman - Retired Staff Member

Once a good friend of ~Jay-Jay~ and Goemar he moved away. Contact went from difficult to impossible when his email changed and was unknown to the staff. Though he is not as skilled as the others and took longer to make sheets once he got to grip with things his latest sheets were of high quality and were done much quicker than previous ones. If contact could ever be re-established and if he was still interested he would once again revive the once legendary RGZ-5 team.
